In honor of Earth Day, Aveda has set aside a whole month to love, celebrate and raise money to protect the Earth and its people. Tangerine takes this task seriously, so you will see our staff talking passionately about it throughout March and April. Through these efforts, the Aveda network has raised over $22 million since 1999. 

Over the last 5 years, $16 million of the funds supported clean water projects at home and around the world. You are a big part of that success and have helped us touch the lives of tens of thousands of families worldwide.  

In five years you've helped us:

• Protect or improve more than 550,000 people's access to clean water;
• Support 16,000 women in becoming activists for clean water in their communities;
• Enable 275 communities to take action against toxic industrial pollution and hundreds of other projects, 
• And so much more! Thank you!

But there is still more to do! Every 21 seconds a child dies from lack of access to clean water.*

• Give globally with our Light the Way candle.  The purchase of a $12 Light the Way candle will provide one child with clean water for one whole year through Global Greengrants clean water projects.
• Give locally - Make a donation to The Gulf Restoration Network online.
